Weddings
Our Ballroom’s open floor plan allows guests to mingle between indoor and outdoor cocktail hour spaces and the spacious ballroom. Floor-to-ceiling French doors and windows reveal an elegant, versatile space for up to 150 people, a band or DJ and a dance floor – all together in one room.
Ceremonies
For those who choose to have a ceremony as well as a reception, the Levering Mill House offers both indoor and outdoor options. Outdoor ceremonies take place on the lawn in front of a colorful planting bed. Most indoor ceremonies can take place in the ballroom (which is then flipped to reception space during cocktail hour) or, if the guest count is under 80, in the library for a more intimate space. We provide and set up white chairs for outdoor ceremonies, mahogany chairs for ballroom ceremonies, and wooden folding chairs for library ceremonies. Your ceremony fee allows for an extra half hour of rental time and you may schedule a rehearsal here in advance.
Some couples choose to hold their ceremonies at St. John’s Episcopal Church, right across the street at 404 Levering Mill Rd, a welcoming and beautiful location for couples of all denominations. Please call the church directly at 610-664-4517 for information on this option.
